BABY BOY ONZIE CUTE IDEA

i cant remember why i hit this area, but i thought it was too cute.
its RECYCLED (hey! a reason to use all those old ties dad never wears!) Ties!

obviously the tie is smaller than its original. but its pretty easy design, 2 pieces. the "tie" part (at the top) and the long part (underneath it)

these could sell for a few bucks easy!

i dont have the pattern for this idea.
but it cant be that difficult to put together, from ral ties or even a template made to produce a tie from selected fabric.

UPDATE-CONVERSION MONKEY WATCH WRIST BAND IDEA

ok, so in my quest to find an arm band replacement for this monkey watch i own i came across a woman who made THIS
looks like she fashioned some kind of "scrunchy" as the arm band.

which is a watch with the watch spring bar on it, and a ribbon used as the band, with a link chain attached and charms, beads, do-dads hanging off of it.

so that sent me on a quest to find a ribbon that was MONKEY...
and i found it, found several, to be exact, but im picky when it comes to what im looking for in a "jewlery" sense.

this is what i narrowed it down too.
i liked this one because its yellow

i like this one because its "girly" and its white, makes it easier to wear with other colors.

but this one matches my watch face the closest, but not so crazy about the green color it is.

it would be great if those tab parts actually unsnapped, but they dont they are solid attached. through the band, they will have to be off as well, when i take the band off.

so, i have to decide which ribbon i want to use, because its gonna be the part that all the charms are against...choices choices.

IDEA - CONVERT MY MONKEY WATCH BAND INTO A CHARM BRACELET

i was trying my monkey watch on today...i hadnt really ever worn it because its really tight on my wrist (i happen to be one of the few women with large bone structure) and because ive lost some weight, i decided to see if i could actually put this watch on.

its still tight. prolly gonna be for ever. i cant lose bone size. just fat, which there is very little of on my wrists.

so, craig (my husband) was noticing i was attempting (with some degree of struggle) to get this watch on and secured, and he says: "well have to find you a different watch band that fits."

so, that got me to thinking about converting this band into a charm bracelet.
that id have all kinds of assortment of MONKEY charms on.

but i dont know if i can convert this arm band to what i see in my mind because it has this part: WATCH SPRING BAR. thats that thin little bar that keeps the band on the watch face.

so, im not sure how to take THIS part and convert the face piece into a charmed linked out bracelet band..

i have to deal with the link itself: which if i purchase WITH the ends will come as a TOGGLE CLASP

or LOBSTER CLASP

once i have achieved the way that would work best for the watch face itself converted to a charm bracelet, i can add any number of assortment of monkey charms, pictured is simply a sample of whats to offer in a myriad of price ranges.
